Environmental Justice

Environmental Justice is defined by the EPA as the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income, with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.

The mission of the Coastal Prairie Conservancy has always been to protect coastal prairie for the benefit of wildlife and ALL people; as such, we continue this work to protect coastal prairie lands that are available and safe for everyone to enjoy.

The Coastal Prairie Conservancy is a proud member of the Coalition for Environment, Equity, and Resilience (CEER), an organization working to raise awareness of the connections between pollution, place and the public's health.
